It is located in tayaseer town, east-north Tubas city which faraway around 22 Km from Nablus city, it is known as the gate of stripes. Visitors from the east entity can realize changeability in temperature and moisture, this climate distinguish Tayaseer nature reserve.

Visitors on the way to the nature reserve will realize that they are in a zone affected by Jordan valley to the mountain heights where the reserve is located in the east bank of Jordan river from Ajloun Mountains. This protected are is under the control of Palestinian authority, it is relatively one of the biggest protected areas in west bank with a total area of 1200 Donums. The reserve has vegetations mostly depend on the rate of annual rainfall which reach to 300-400, this makes the nature enriched in floristic diversity where Pistacia letiscus and carobs are found in eastern foothills and slopes, also several floras are found such as Stare of Bethlem, Orchids, Ruta, black iris, thymes, oak, Arum, Retama, Ruta chalepensis, hairy thorny broom, Rhamnus and Red Tulip which is threatened. It has also fauna like the Limbless lizard.

The reserve faces several threats such as the Israeli occupation and settlements, as they threat the water resources and environmental diversity through settlements and destroying the natural habitats. In addition, they use the nature reserve as closed military zone, this may annoy the wildlife and increase pollution and deteriorate the functions of the ecosystems. Also, the nature reserve faces other pressures such as the scarcity of water, over hunting of birds and threating even the Partridge eggs, also the lack of environmental awareness is considered potential factor affect the quality of the nature reserve. Being in the nature reserve will enable you birding several species like the Partridge, black bird, The curlews, The European greenfinch, Crested Lark, Short-toed Snake Eagle and owls, in addition of Deer tracks.
