Shepherd`s field

This is the place where the angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds bringing them the good news of the birth of Jesus. Joined with a multitude of heavenly hosts, the angels sang 'Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.' It is located in the town of Beit Sahour 2km east of Bethlehem.
