Spectacular ancient setting at Al-Kayed Palace

The Al-Kayed Palace is a Guesthouse located in the village of Sebastia. It is an Ottoman-era palace which was built around 1855 for the Al-Kayed family. They provide traditional Palestinian home-made food and you can register for guided walks and hikes in the Sebastia area. The village Sebastia is filled with history and is not far from Nablus. In the center of Sebastia you can visit the the Mosque of Nabi Yehia, which originally was a cathedral built by the Crusaders and dedicated to John the Baptist. There are also more historic places to visit like historic houses in the village who are now small museum.
