Climate Change
Global process and effects
The climate change impacts that affect Palestine include decreased precipitation, significant warming, more frequent extreme weather events, and a rise in the sea level. These could lead to greater water scarcity, reduced agricultural productivity, decreased food and water security, and saline water intrusion. If Palestine can successfully address climate change and lessen the related impacts, these measures will help improve the country’s energy security and overall food production, the environment, and people’s living conditions and health.
