Developing the capabilities of environmental police and inspectors in the field of nature protection

The project was launched with the aim of strengthening monitoring and inspection in nature reserves and Palestinian market, and developing the capabilities of environmental inspectors (Envrionment Police, Customs Police and inspector of the Envrionment Quality Authority). The training workshops covered various topics such as identifying wild animals and birds, combating illegal hunting and trading, and how to deal and confiscate wildlife, snakes and birds. The inspectors exchanged experiences and participated in practical training by visiting nature reserves and markets in the governorates with the aim of enhancing environmental awareness in addressing environmental violations. The project resulted in the issuance of a scientific guide book for classifying and controlling animals, which strengthens environmental law enforcement and maintains the safety of individuals and wildlife.
