Mainstreaming Ecotourism into the Planning of Local Governmental Units

The project goal is to mainstream ecotourism into the planning of Local Governmental Units-LGU- near nature reserves. It aims to strengthen action for sustainable development in municipal politics, thus contributing to the local economic development of the villages, and to the nature reserves' conservation goals. In addition, the project activates the role of LGU in maximizing the development feasibility of ecotourism destinations.
